The “Monk Jumps over the Wall"
‘Monk Jumps over the Wall’ is also known as Fo Tiao Qiang in Chinese. It was a very famous dish prepared for the Emperor during the Qing Dynasty. It was named this way because there once was a scholar who cooked a special dish next to a temple. The strong aroma would spread over the temple and having smelled the wonderful aroma of the dish, one of the monks was tempted and jumped over the wall just to try the dish. This dish is made of from fresh Shark’s Fin, Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Fish Maw, Dried Scallop and Black Mushrooms. Why not give jumping over the “WALL”?
