Italian Rice Stir Fries – The New Creations of Chef Philip Iannuccilli
Fried Rice or Nasi Goreng is one of the most favorite dishes in Indonesia. People love it so much, and the recipes have been modified so many times...that now, fried rice has an infinite number of possibilities. Some of the traditional Fried Rice from Indonesia are Nasi Goreng Kambing (Lamb Fried Rice) and Nasi Goreng Tek-Tek (Javanese style Fried Rice).
For the Fried Rice Lovers who would like to experience a new taste in Fried Rice, come to Hotel Borobudur Jakarta during July 2010. At Bruschetta Italian Restaurant, one of the outlets in the hotel, Chef Philip Iannuccilli has created an exciting selection of Italian Rice Stir Fries. The Stir Fries are made using the Vialone Nano variety of rice imported from Italy. Then, Chef Phil mixes it, in a number of different styles, ending in six perfect combinations.
The Stir Fries being offered are... Crunchy Garlic Prawns (chopped prawns, asparagus, crunchy garlic chips and green onion), Norwegian Basil Salmon (cured salmon, cucumber, green peas and basil pesto), Australian Beef Tenderloin (beef, mushroom, tomato, egg and Worcestershire sauce), Spiced Yellow Fin Tuna (tuna, chili, coriander, mustard seed and soy sauce), Lamb Sicilian Style (lamb, eggplant, raisins and pine nuts) and Autumn Duck Breast (duck breast, pumpkin, roasted walnuts and papaya).
